GEARBLAST UK 2009

DRESS-CODE »

This is an opportunity to show your gear off, make an effort and you won’t have a problem! The following guidelines are here to reinforce how we want this event to stand out in the community and is the basis for us all being here!

We don't want to see something that is 'normal' or everyday wear (unless you're a pervert for a living) imagine the old lady down the road, if she doesn't like it, it's probably going to be ok!!

Be creative, mix gear, but under no circumstances do we want to see any street wear in the club! BE PERVY!!

  1. The general rule should be that at least 50% of your body should be in gear. Gear is defined below.
  2. Rubber (Catsuits, Drysuits, Surfsuits, Singlets, Hoods, Waders, Gloves, Harnesses, Aprons)
  3. Neoprene (Wetsuits or Drysuits, Hoods, Gloves or Booties plus any other garments supplemented by other gear listed here)
  4. Leather (1 or 2-piece Race suits, Chaps, Waistcoats, Trench Coats, Trousers)
  5. Lycra/Spandex (Zentai, Bodysuits, Singlets, or single item supplemented by another listed here)
  6. Sports kit (Must be matching full kit only, Shirt, Shorts or single item won’t be allowed unless supplemented with something from elsewhere on this list).
  7. Furry and Costume (Full Suits, or partial in combination with something else listed here)
  8. Armour (Plate Metal, Leather, Motocross, Hockey, American Football, Riot Gear)
  9. Uniform (Army, Police, Swat/SO19, Hazmat, Firefighter)
  10. Skin Gear (Bleachers and Braces with 10/14/20 or 30 hole boots, MA1 or MA2 Jackets)
  11. Downsuits, Puffa Jackets and Trousers on their own or supplimented by another item of gear.
  1. Nothing feminine (unless it’s being used in a bondage context i.e. ballet boots or male corset)
  2. Please leave your politics at home - no nazi, communist or racist clothing or uniforms.
  3. No Street clothes.
  4. No Trainers/Sneakers unless worn with full sportskit.
  5. Scally-look won’t cut it, it’s far too close to streetwear to be able to control.

Bear in mind the weather, use common sense and stay hydrated. There is a good chance it will get warm and/or stuffy at some point.

The organisers will not be held accountable for you not looking after yourself.

Bring your own bondage equipment at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and those you have restrained. The management will not accept liability for broken, damaged or stolen items from other event attendees. Please look after your belongings. There will be a secure attended cloakroom available to deposit valuables within the premises.

Blackstore will have a stall with plenty of pervy goodies to purchase on the night, so If you’re stuck for gear you can buy something from them.

See www.blackstore.com for details.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. If you would like clarification on what is acceptable please contact us.

ANYONE IN BREACH OF THE DRESS-CODE WILL BE ASKED TO CHANGE OR MAY EVEN BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES!!
